The Blue Tie Ride was founded in 2011 by Raumar Bustamente and Dolly Betancourt who both share a passion for raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and childhood sexual abuse.
The Blue Tie Ride has raised over $60,000 to date with their annual motorcycle ride that takes place in August. This year the ride will happen on August 11th 2018 and will start at Barrie Harley Davidson.
So Where do the proceeds go ?
Net proceeds go to both Prostate Cancer Canada and The Gatehouse Child Abuse Investigation & Support Site.
Prostate Cancer Canada is the leading national foundation dedicated to the elimination of prostate cancer through research, advocacy, education, support and awareness. As one of the largest investors in prostate cancer research in Canada, Prostate Cancer Canada is committed to continuous discovery in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support.
The Gatehouse is a unique charity that provides supports, resources and advocacy on behalf of those impacted by childhood sexual abuse. Over the past 18 years, The Gatehouse has helped thousands including children, youth and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.
The Blue Tie Ride supports two amazing charities, so when we had the opportunity to work with them on a custom Fast Mask face mask we jumped at the chance and the result is an amazing custom face mask to help The Blue Tie Ride raise funds for both charities.
Make sure to come out to the ride on August 11th at Barrie Harley Davidson and buy a custom face mask to help support these two wonderful charities.
